HERE WE GO....

So we are way behind.  Where to start?  Here goes...our holidays were fabulous!  To start them off right we went down to the Christmas tree farm and picked out the perfect tree.  We brought it home and decorated it.  Ana thought the tree was so awesome it was worth learning to crawl for!  She also loved the gifts under the tree and was absolutely convinced they were all for her to play with.  She would crawl over and maul them on a daily basis.  We went Christmas shopping and Ana visited a big strange man in a red suit.  She was quite unimpressed with him...but the elves with their clapper and bells elicited a smile for the picture!

We then drove to Utah to be with our extended families for Christmas and so Sean could take the GMAT.  In Utah we participated in one of my favorite Christmas tradition's the cousin cookie bake. At a the cookie bake we had delicious food and great company and a surprise!  Baby Johns is on the way!  My sister is pregnant and Ana is going to have a cousin! Hurray!  She has since found out it is a baby boy!  We are so excited to meet him!

Christmas Eve was so much fun!  We went to my Mom's house for lunch and fondue and spent the Eve with the Macdonald clan for Great Grandma Martha's birthday party! It was lots of fun!

Christmas Day was so fun!  I couldn't sleep the night before because I was so excited for Ana to get her present.  It was just as great as I anticipated.  Ana loved her toy and continues to have a great time with it!  She had a fun day and thought unwrapping present was fun.  All that paper was so neat and so were the presents. Thanks everyone!  Somehow Sean talked all the men in my family into having a "Mustache Christmas" much my dismay.  Even my Dad participated....so sad....at least my brother resisted my husband's bad influence!  (You know I love you Sean! But I wasn't a fan of  "Mustache Christmas.")  Merry Christmas everyone....a little late!

After Christmas, we stayed to play in Utah for awhile.  We played in the snow with Ana!

We visited with family and friends and had a great time!

We celebrated New Year's and our sister's birthdays with our families!  Then we came home!
